My husband and I first fell in love with Lillooet during an “accidental” visit in 2015, and we couldn’t wait to find our way back. Land appeared! And in 2020, we made the leap — arriving without a house, a job or a circle of friends, but knowing this was where we wanted to build a life. We were married on Old Bridge that September. We are parents to five, and grandparents to five more.
I live to be outside! Hiking, distance running and kayaking are my favourite ways to enjoy this fabulous valley we call home.
My husband Greg and I are both small business owners. I operate an online business and create my own small-batch cosmetic products, while Greg is a dedicated and accomplished massage therapist, musician and drummer. I currently serve as President of the Lillooet & District Chamber of Commerce, giving me a firsthand view of our local economy.
I’m running for Council because I care deeply about the future of the community we chose to call home. A major focus for me is strengthening Lillooet’s local economy — supporting existing businesses, attracting new investment, growing our commercial base, and strengthening tourism. A strong local economy benefits the whole community.
I’m a doer, and I believe local government should be practical, accountable and responsive to the people it serves. The people of Lillooet should have a strong voice in the decisions that affect their community.
Good local government helps people move forward — whether that means building a home, starting a business, completing a project, or investing in our community. It should be practical, accessible and focused on helping people succeed. Your priorities matter.
